Protein Shake
3T Flax Seed Meal

Meal Two (after strength training)
Apple
10 almonds

Meal Three
Spinach Salad with (1 T Egg, 1 T Sunflower Seeds, lots of cucumbers, mushrooms, 1 T Balsamic vinegar, 1 T Oil)
Grilled Chicken Breast
Mashed cauliflower
Sauteed mushrooms serving size wasn’t even a garnish duhhhhh $2.99 for four or five little slices
Broccoli

Meal Four
1 Slice Whole Wheat Toast
1 T All Natural Peanut Butter

Meal Five
Portion size broiled salmon
Broccoli
Two slices veggie (soy) cheese

Beverages
2 cups coffee
Hot green tea
LOTS of water
Sparkling water

Cardio
Treadmill 45 minutes 2.38 miles 208 calories burned Avg HR 105 Slowed the pace down for the knee. I did ok but the knee felt tight like it was swelling but no pain and I was totally fine after I slowed the pace below 3 (impact wasn’t so hard) but the heart rate didn’t average above 105…..low end of target zone.

My nuts fell out of their bag onto the floor of the car (that’s as in almonds, Jim, sheesh!) so I didn’t have almonds after working out

Meal Three
What a comedy of errors
Cobb salad
Grilled chicken breast (less the P.S.) barely ½ egg, sprinkle of bacon bits and ¼ c cheese
Now get this, Chili’s was out of vinegar, they also did not have vinagerette. I refused the creamy kind, low fat, fat free any of it and had 1 T olive oil with YELLOW MUSTARD for dressing. GAGGGGGGGGG! My salad was free!

Meal Four
Rice cake
1 T All Natural Butter

Meal Five
Spinach salad (cucumbers, mushrooms, 1 T Sunflower seed, 1 T olive oil, 1 T Balsamic vinegar)
Grilled tilapia
Broccoli
Cauliflower

Exercise Journal
45 minutes strength in the morning

Went back to Gold’s in evening (had meeting in morning and couldn’t finish abs)

For cardio I tried the Recumbent per Roberts suggestion. I did 10 minutes. I started out with the seat too far back and hyperextended my knee so ten minutes was plenty. Plus that worked out thigh muscles and I’ll work into more minutes each time I try it. I did like it. I just needed to adjust the seat.

I came home and smiled at my Treadmill with the promise and pat on its start button that I’d return to it tomorrow! I LOVE MY PRECOR! I drooled on my stretching machine!
